As a reproductive medicine specialist, Dr Kay Neumann brings all his experience to bear in helping couples at Fleetinsel Fertility Clinic fulfil their greatest wish

A native of Hannover, Dr Kay Neumann completed his medical studies and subsequent doctorate at Georg August University in Göttingen from 2006 to 2013. He pursued scientific studies in basic research at Rush University in Chicago (Dept. of Molecular Biophysics and Physiology) from 2010 to 2011. This was carried out through a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Dr Kay Neumann completed his further training as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics in Lübeck Women’s Clinic at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, where he looked after numerous couples with fertility issues in the consultation hours for recurrent miscarriages. Also in Lübeck, Dr Kay Neumann specialised in reproductive medicine at the University Fertility Centre headed by Prof. Dr Georg Griesinger from 2017 to 2020. In addition to his clinical work, he also dealt with numerous scientific issues and completed his habilitation at the University of Lübeck in 2020.

Dr Neumann is a lecturer, author of scientific articles and reviews and contributor to books as well as a speaker at national and international specialist congresses.

Dr Kay Neumann has two sons.

Priv.-Doz. Dr Kay Neumann took over the management and ownership of Fleetinsel Fertility Clinic from Dr Kocak in May 2023.

Herr Priv.-Doz. Dr. Kay Neumann hat zum Mai 2023 die Leitung und Inhaberschaft der Kinderwunsch Praxisklinik Fleetinsel von Herrn Dr. Kocak übernommen.

Frau Dr. Hannah Richter gehört seit Sommer 2024 zum Ärzteteam der Kinderwunsch Praxisklinik Fleetinsel.

Frau Dr. Richter hat nach dem Abitur in Hamburg an der Universität Freiburg und später in Hamburg von 2001 bis 2008 Medizin studiert. Ihre Facharztweiterbildung hat Frau Dr. Richter im Krankenhaus Itzehoe und im Agaplesion Diakoniekrankenhaus Hamburg absolviert und 2011 erfolgreich die Facharztweiterbildung zur Fachärztin für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe abgeschlossen. Ab 2018 hat Frau Dr. Richter im Kinderwunschzentrum Altonaer Strasse die Schwerpunktweiterbildung Gynäkologische Endokrinologie und Reproduktionsmedizin absolviert und 2022 erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Frau Dr. Richter ist Mutter von zwei Söhnen.

Frau Dr. Nuray Aytekin ist erfahrene Reproduktionmedizinerin, die auch international bereits erfolgreich Paaren bei der Erfüllung Ihres größten Wunsches geholfen hat.

Frau Dr. Nuray Aytekin hat an der Universität Hamburg bis 2002 Medizin studiert und das Studium mit Ihrer Dissertation erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Ihre Facharztweiterbildung hat Frau Dr. Aytekin u.a. am Krankenhaus Altona im Perinatalzentrum bei Herrn Prof. Ragosch und Herrn Dr. von Laffern absolviert, seit 2007 ist Frau Dr. Aytekin Fachärztin für Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe. In der Praxis für Gynäkologische Endokrinologie und Reproduktionsmedizin bei Herrn Dr. Bispink und Partner absolvierte Frau Dr. Aytekin die Schwerpunktweiterbildung zur Reproduktionsmedizinerin, die sie im Jahr 2009 erfolgreich abschgeschlossen hat. Im Anschluss wechselte Frau Dr. Aytekin in die Türkei zur renommierten Eurofertil Gruppe in eine leitende Position, in der Frau Dr. Aytekin mit Aufbau und Verwaltung eines Standortes in Izmir betraut gewesen ist. Im Jahr 2017 wechselte Frau Dr. Aytekin zurück nach Hamburg und arbeite bis 2020 im Kinderwunschzentrum Valentinshof und anschließend im Kinderwunschzentrum Hamburg-Mitte.
Frau Dr. Aytekin hat eine Zertifizierung zur Ernährungsbeauftragten Ärztin der Deutschen Akademie für Ernährungsmedizin e.V..

Frau Dr. Aytekin ist Mutter einer Tochter.

Wir freuen uns, dass Frau Dr. Nuray Aytekin ab Januar 2025 das Ärzteteam der Kinderwunsch Praxisklinik Fleetinsel verstärkt.

Dr Sonja Scheuß has been part of the medical team at Fleetinsel Fertility Clinic since January 2017.

After studying human medicine at Kiel University, Dr Scheuß began her further training as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Husum Clinic in Nordfriesland Hospital. Having acquired several years of experience in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Heidberg site of Asklepios Hospital North, she successfully completed her specialist training and was recognised as a specialist in March 2016.

Since then, Dr Scheuß has focused on looking after couples who wish to have a child in a holistic manner throughout the entire treatment period. She completed her further training in gynaecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine at Fleetinsel Fertility Clinic in Hamburg from 2017 to 2021. She subsequently joined our dedicated team of doctors as a reproductive medicine specialist. Dr Scheuß has two children and plays the horn in the Junge Symphoniker Hamburg orchestra in her free time.

Dr. Wibke Mennerich gehört seit Februar 2022 zum Ärzteteam der Kinderwunsch Praxisklinik Fleetinsel und absolviert die Weiterbildung Gynäkologische Endokrinologie und Reproduktionsmedizin.

Dr Mennerich attaches particular importance to open communication and ensures that everyone involved is familiar with the potential challenges and steps of the treatment. Her aim is to work together to find the best possible way to fulfil the desire to have a child.

Dr Mennerich worked at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Asklepios Clinic Altona for 11 years before joining the team at Fleetinsel Fertility Clinic. This was where she completed her specialist training in gynaecology and obstetrics.

Dr Mennerich studied human medicine at the University of Göttingen. Her doctorate in the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy focused on the topic of group therapy sessions in the context of couples’ therapy. She began her professional career at Asklepios Clinic Heidberg. She worked in the operating theatre, emergency room and in outpatient consultations at the Department of Visceral Surgery for two years.

Dr Mennerich has three children.
